CLAAS manufacture a variety of different balers to accommodate varying sizes and shapes. The QUADRANT square balers, ROLLANT balers and VARIANT balers provide diversity and will create the right bales for you.
Each baler compiles compact bales, with baling pressures of up to 200 bar, which is important when considering efficiency.
The largest QUADRANT model is the 5300, with baling measurements of 1.2 x 0.9 m. The 5300 operates at 46 ram strokes per minute, which is great for throughput and bale density. It is controlled hydraulically, which permits optimal bale weight and cuts particularly finely, with 51 knives for top chop quality. The machine has an integrated bale weighing system, which displays the exact weight of the bale on the terminal during run-time. These weights can be called up at any time using TELEMATICS.
Smaller CLAAS QUADRANT square balers include the QUADRANT 5200, 4200 and 4000. Each of these models are sophisticated, using the same technology which facilitates both efficiency and accuracy.
Additionally, CLAAS offer the ROLLANT balers. Much like the QUADRANT models, these machines offer ease of operation, high levels of productivity and are reliable. The ROLLANT 400 UNIWRAP adds an extra element of ease, allowing operators to wrap as they go, selecting either film or net wrapping.
CLAAS offer a COMFORT option on the ROLLANT balers. The tailgate on this machine opens and closes automatically in six seconds. The knives are automatically cleaned after every fifth bale and blockages are easily managed using a push button.
